Dura pouco mais de um minuto, não pela ditadura da instantaneidade e a consequente falta de concentração do público, que não mais suporta nada que dure mais de 15 segundos, como rezam as cartilhas das bigtechs. Quem já estava gostando desde os primeiros segundos, quer mais, e é levado a apertar o repeat.

Trata-se do recém-lançado videoclipe de “Carnaval das crianças (O ginete do pierrozinho)”, de Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959), uma das peças registradas pela pianista Erika Ribeiro em “Villa-Lobos” (Rocinante, 2026), álbum dedicado ao repertório (para além do óbvio) do maestro, arranjador, compositor e multi-instrumentista.

Na capa do citado álbum, a artista já aparecia com uma fotografia recortada de um olho sobrepondo-se ao próprio rosto e tranças que ganham ainda mais sentido no videoclipe: no clima “infantil” evocado desde o título da composição, Erika Ribeiro transforma-se numa menina, ou antes, numa boneca, em clipe quase todo em preto e branco — as exceções são as intervenções visuais em giz oleoso de Jhe.

Erika Ribeiro dança, senta-se, toca seu wurlitzer e encontra notas musicais no ar. Como quem respira música, o que é seu caso. “Com quatro anos eu já estava tocando algumas coisinhas. Eu não tenho uma primeira memória de quando eu comecei. A minha sensação é que eu sempre toquei piano, é muito engraçado”, como ela me contou em entrevista.
