Esse show já roda o Rio há dois anos, esteve no Manouche e no Teatro Rival, mas em São Paulo só desembarcou agora. “Essa música ficou muito famosa. Não comigo, claro”, ele disse, docemente sarcástico, mas aliviado com o conforto da coadjuvância geracional libertária.
O carioca Antonio Rogério Coimbra, o Toni Platão, garganta dos anos 1990, não é só fisicamente parecido com Cássia Eller (como o pessoal do Rock Gol da MTV o apelidou, jocosamente, naqueles tempos). É possivelmente uma voz gêmea, daquele tipo de garganta que não conhece contenção, cálculo, acanhamento, medo de ser livre. Encara cada show como se fosse o último. Contam-se nos dedos de uma mão essas qualidades em circulação por aí. Ex-frontman do grupo Hojerizah, nos anos 1980, Toni atravessou quatro décadas de sobrevivência como intérprete, e hoje, ao reencontrá-lo, nos damos conta de que se tornou um dos melhores do País, o negócio decantou, a voz fez academia, é capaz de enfrentar qualquer tipo de repertório, e que sua resistência à sucumbência dos tempos é uma bênção.
É interessante notar como as músicas que Herbert Vianna compôs foram se enraizando na memória, tornando-se um fato cultural, reivindicando perenidade – mas só que de maneira suave, sem forçar a barra, encaixando-se primeiro nos territórios diáfanos do pop, compactando seus versos, destacando-os na crônica dos afetos possíveis.
